This medium duty solid-state electric fence charger has increased durability. High power for low cost!

This Fi-Shock™ Medium Duty Charger uses two 1/16 amp time-delay fuses, with fused panel for downline protection against power surges. New enclosure is textured for increased durability.

The SS-550X is for dogs from 15 lbs and above.  We do not recommend electric fencing for any dog under 15 lbs or under 6 months old.

Fence terminals are on the bottom of unit.  Electronically controlled timing and a weather resistant cabinet are two features of this charger.  Because the incoming electricity is 110, this product should be installed in an area that is protected from moisture.
