The Concern® Multi-Purpose Insect Killer harnesses the combined powers of pyrethrins (.012%) and insecticidal soap (1.015%). This product kills soft and hard-bodied insects like aphids, caterpillars, cockroaches, beetles (Japanese beetles, Colorado potato beetles, cucumber beetles and bean beetles), whiteflies, mealy bugs and many other common garden pests. Kills on contact.

Pyrethrin Insecticide Soap OMRI November 30, 2010

In looking for a Seven alternative, this stuff is great for the home gardner. Every year, I get hit with Aphids in May, and alternating between light mists of this and Concern's Neem oil Concern based Garden Defense product really whacked the Aphid numbers. I would make up a dilute bottle, empty it over a few spraying sessions, then make up a bottle of the Neem oil. By July, the Aphid population was wiped out.
