Garbage! June 27, 2011

I just bought some of these at TSC. They are absolute rubbish. The plastic is very brittle on both the ones I installed... the plastic broke out around the screw holes. And the contact broke off when tightening the wire nut--did not take much force to break. Also, the bottom screw (mounted to handle) is not long enough to use with 12 ga. underground electric fence wire... the nut cannot be threaded all the way to the locking threads on the nut. These need to be sent back to China and replaced with something good.
