Gate openings should be located where people and animals need easy access to barns and pastures.
Tip: If possible, we recommend placing gates at corners, rather than in the middle of a straight fence.
Be sure to plan for them early and include the locations on your original fence layout.

Fi-Shock offers three different gate products that can be used with our fencing systems:
Expandable Spring Gate
This highly visible spring expands to 20’ and keeps the electric fence gate taut. It is electrified when closed, neutral when open, and comes with easy installation instructions.
Electrified Wire with Insulated Gate Handle
You’ll need one plastic gate handle for every electrified wire. These are molded of tough, high quality plastic with shockproof thickness for safe handling protection.
Insulated Wire for Rigid Frame Gates
A standard gate can be used without interfering with the electric fence by running an insulated cable underneath the ground to bring the current to the other side of the gate.
To prevent animals from rubbing or pushing through a standard gate, an electrified wire can be mounted on the gate itself. In this case, we recommend the use of a Fi-Shock's Rigid Frame Gate Handle.
Made of virtually indestructible rubber, these handles won't crack in cold weather. Tough polymer liner provides extra safety and strength.
