Woodstream Corporation, a global manufacturer of animal control products including FiShock and Zareba brand of electronic containment systems that provide safe, economical alternatives to barbed wire fencing, has introduced the FiShock Portable Paddock for horses. Designed to contain four to five horses for a short period of time, the portable paddock is ideal for any area for which a temporary horse enclosure is needed, including wagon trails, trail rides, polo matches and horse shows as well as for sectioning off pastures and forming corridors for animal management. Packed in a lightweight canvas bag with a shoulder strap, the new portable paddock includes an above ground battery-operated fence charger with a mounting stake, eight 4-foot step-in posts, 200-foot spool of polytape, four corner bracing stakes, one 9-inch ground spike, one fence lead wire with a polytape clip, one ground lead wire with a clamp and four adjustable corner bracing guy lines. The versatile paddock can be installed as a 25-foot x 25-foot double line enclosure or a 50-foot x 50-foot single line enclosure, depending on specific enclosure requirements.
